Laura Wilkerson is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in dementia care. She works closely with families navigating one of the most emotionally complex and demanding roles: caregiving for a loved one with dementia.

Her work is deeply human. She doesn’t lead with clinical language or statistics — she leads with empathy, clarity, and grounded guidance. Her goal has always been to create a space where caregivers feel seen, supported, and less alone.

At the time she partnered with CRE8TION, Laura had already built an engaged audience and years of hands-on experience. What she didn’t yet have was a structured way to translate that expertise into a scalable dementia care course.

Before working with CRE8TION, Laura was sitting on a wealth of knowledge — but it lived in fragments.

Her ideas lived across notebooks, social content, conversations, and lived experience. She's an expert at knowing what caregivers need. She sees it firsthand, repeatedly. But when it came to packaging that knowledge into a course, Laura needed support with the structure.

We worked with the four phases Laura had already defined through years of dementia care:

• Recovery from Caregiver Fatigue

Anchoring the course in these phases not only made the most sense for Laura. It also allowed the course development to unfold authentically, in a way that honored her proven methodology.
