This Week’s Build
If you don’t know this already, I’m super into AI. One of the phrases I keep coming back to about this beta program is… “We use AI to accelerate the build, and human insight to elevate the experience.”
This week, I went down the rabbit hole on vibe coding.
Vibe Coding: a new approach to software development that leverages AI to generate code from natural language descriptions
Essentially, you talk to the AI like you would ChatGPT, describing the webapp or custom tool you want it to build, and it does it for you. 😏 This is especially helpful for our team to learn because we have clients who ask for calculators, budget tools, etc. Others ask for interactive games, cards, etc. And now, we can build them, without having to be coders or developers.
I used this project as my guinea pig, because you’re a savvy business owner, so I KNOW you’re asking yourself, “But at what point will I ROI on this investment?”

An Energy Check-In
Have you heard of the Drama Triangle?
It speaks to the roles we play that create, well, drama.
And just like that Grey’s Anatomy, the drama will go on forever until someone breaks the pattern.
My favorite flavor of drama? The Hero / Rescuer.
In fact, I do that ish so much it’s become a pattern that created a successful business.

Victim: I don’t have time to build my course.

Rescuer aka Me: I can help.

Victim: It’s too hard for me to build a program.

Rescuer aka Me: Let me take over for you.
A lot of service providers tend to prefer the Hero/Rescuer role. It’s a big reason why we do what we do. We like to feel valuable in our capacity and capability to help.
But if we start a service provider-client relationship from the Drama Triangle… where does it go from there?
They stay the victim. We stay the rescuer.
Until it’s too much, the client asks for one to many things. The service provider becomes the villain, and blames the client for being a “shit client”.
Sound familiar? 🙊
What needs to change?
We need to enter the Empowerment Dynamic, aka the other triangle.
Underlying the Empowerment Dynamic is presence and self-awareness.
Opposite the “Hero/Rescuer” is the Coach.
Which, to be honest, I don’t love the word “Coach”. It’s lost a lot of meaning in the industry.
However in this context, it means someone who believes in the capability of others, listens deeply to support them in coming to their own conclusions and claiming 100% responsibility for their lives.
I can get behind that.
I also super connect with the Challenger. We embody a lot of that the programs that we create for our clients. Challenger, imo, is the closest to teaching.
If the Coach asks, “How will you do it?” the Challenger says, “You can do it!”
What’s my Drama Llama Triangle Pattern during this Beta Launch?
Moving from the agency services to the educational suite offerss has me swiftly moving from Hero to Coach. It’s obvious how very not sustainable it would to rescue the clients in this group experience… Even though we’re only taking 20, it’s still too many to even conceptualize “rescuing.”
But it is also shifting how I relate to my agency clients, too. We’re low-volume in the agency, so it’s “easier” to rescue them, but I can totally articulate how it doesn’t help them.
As my husband says, “You take a sharp, intelligent person, and say “done-for-you” to them, and all of a sudden they have the IQ of a rock.”
But now, I’d argue (Hi, Brad👋) that it’s only when you come from the perspective of the rescuer, not the Coach or Challenger.
A Shift I Made
I added a VIP Tier.
I know, I know. It’s a beta, Jonte! You don’t need a VIP Tier.
BUT I was thinking about how I can create the MOST successful students which IS the point of my beta. This was particularly loud this week with the YouTube Video that went LIVE.
And I realized that even my most least-victim, most-creator peers and clients often struggle with “the tech.” The skillset isn’t just in their growth zone… it’s way out in their fight-or-flight dyregulated AF zone.

The building of a program is already a good stretch for folks who are challenged by tech. I’ve got some amazing training on how to make video recordings easy and slide deck creation simple and fast a breeze.
But a course portal build inside of a platform like Kajabi, Circle, Thinkific, etc. is a whole new ball game.
So, even though I said I wouldn’t do a VIP Tier with a beta, we’re doing it. Cause I’m a CEO and ish and can change my mind. 💁🏻♀️
